Indian Mutual Funds are accepting NRIs/PIOs applications which in some FATCA compliant Fund Houses includes US and Canada based clients also.

For US and Canada based clients, the application will be accepted subject to submission of the FATCA Declaration at the time of each and every investment/redemption.

They should comply with all the regulatory requirements at the time of submitting the application. In case, there is any discrepancy in the application, AMC/RTA reserves the right to reject the application.

Mutual Funds in general do not accept application from the High Risk and Non-cooperative jurisdictions as provided in the following link- http://www.fatf-gafi.org

Indian Direct Equity is also available for investment by NRIs/PIOs on the opening of a NSE Trading Account with our Group Company Integra Securities Private Limited and a demat amount with any SEBI recognised Demat Participant. Foreign nationals of Indian origin who are residing in India for employment of specified duration (irrespective of the length thereof) or for a job or assignment, the duration of which is not longer than three years are considered as not-permanent resident in India and are treated at par with foreign nationals for all purposes under exchange control regulations and as such are subject to restrictions placed on foreigners in this regard. Foreign nationals of Indian origin, permanently resident in India, are treated at par with other resident Indian nationals, and have been granted general exemption from the restrictions placed under foreign exchange regulations.
